Bishop Fox's Educational Foundation

Bishop Fox’s Educational Foundation offers grants to support young people aged 11–24 who live in or attend a state‑funded school or college in the former Borough of Taunton Deane. The grants help with clothing, education, training, sports, music, arts, and recognised talents, covering costs such as books, specialist equipment, course fees and apprenticeship tools. 

Taunton Heritage Trust

Taunton Heritage Trust is a long‑established almshouse charity supporting people in Taunton Deane who are facing financial hardship. Each year, the Trust awards over 250 grants to help local residents with essential items they cannot afford, such as furniture, kitchen appliances, school uniform, disability aids, and basic household needs. Grants are available only through referral agencies, and applications are reviewed monthly. The Trust also provides supported housing for people aged 60+ who can live independently, offering warden assistance, communal facilities, and beautiful gardens.
