Sixth Form Enterprise

Our enterprise activities give students the chance to shine through real-world experiences. Each week, they run Selworthy Spuds for staff, taking orders, shopping, cooking, serving and running their own pop-up café.

Selworthy Gifts focuses on practical woodwork, with learners crafting items from pallets such as hearts, planters, and festive trees. Selworthy Crafts celebrates imagination, with handmade cards, pom‑pom wreaths, dried flower bouquets, hot chocolate reindeer and much more.

All gifts and crafts are proudly sold at our annual school Christmas event and we also attend community events such as the Taunton Independent Market and Pride celebrations to share their makes more widely. In addition, we have a special link with Mountbatten Nursing Home, where learners create themed items to display on the front of the building, bringing joy and colour to the local community.

Together, these projects build independence, teamwork and pride, while highlighting the enterprise spirit of our Sixth Form.
